Good morning today I am posting my reading work the Duty in the Downpour

Th sky over the main south south road was the colour of wet slate. It was 2:55 pm and the road partol team was getting ready. Plip plop splash! The heavy droplets of rain began to hit the fluorescent yellow vest.

“Signs out!”yelled Sarah. Her voice sounded thin against the roaring engine of a passing truck . The team stepped onto the kurb . The wind  carried the sharp metallic scent of wet bitumen and car and exhaust. Sarah watched the cars.

Good morning everybody My name is Leo Wang and we have been reading after the fire by Adrienne Frater.

This story is about a boy named Joe whose home is affected by a big fire. Many trees and farms are burned.Joe feels sad when he sees that his mum’s orchard is gone because he helped plant the fruit trees.

Joe visits his alpaca, Albert at the rescue centre. He also makes a new friend called Sadia. Sadia tells him that her grandparents lost everything in a giant flood, but they surived. This helps Joe understand being safe is what really matters.

A t the end of the story Joe and his Mum decide they can plant the orchard again this shows hope. Even after something terrible happens, you can start again

HEllo today I made my first ever summer learning journry blog so today I Had to read a book about insects in Maori

We have been learning to collaborate when doing today  we learnt some basic salsa dancing salsa dancing is orignally  from the the Caribean cuba and Pueto Rio I found the danceing interesting because it felt smooth and the dance was also hard because I didn’t remember that much

Hello today I made this picture of the monkeys escaping a Mr and Mrs twits i liked drawing the house because I put many details to it like webs and sticks what hard was drawing the blue bird because is was super the head and neck was super small and i barely could draw his head I”d also would love feedbacks thanks!

Hello today we have been making fish out clay on devices I made a rainbow  fish since I remembered of the story Rainbow fish what I enjoyed is I coloured it and made the faces because they looked funny what I found hard is making the tail because it did the same thing on the other side and made it look like 2 tails because I finished it i’d like some feedback since i need more help with my learning so my family is proud of me!
